With an emotive collection of Christmas favourites, Jennifer Nettles has released a country Christmas album ripe for Christmas 2016.

Featuring collaboration from Idina Menzel on ‘Little Drummer Boy’ and Andra Day on ‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman’ with original’s like ‘Circle of Love’ written by Dolly Parton and a great cover of Kenny Loggins ‘Celebrate Me Home’ this album offers the right amount of star power and Christmas sentimentality.

Jennifer Nettles is an American country music singer-songwriter and actress. She is known primarily for her role as lead vocalist of the duo Sugarland alongside Kristian Bush. Nettles made her acting debut in the NBC television movie, Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors portraying Dolly Parton’s mother and she will reprise her role in the sequel Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love. For six years in a row she has hosted the CMA Country Christmas on American ABC.

With a diverse range of musical styles presented all with a country twist, this album features horn sections, great backing singers and enough variety to appeal to all music fans.  This album as grown on me more and more as Christmas 2016 moves closer and I really am enjoying it and the wholesome family Christmas love it exudes.
